NexxEd is a space built for Nigerian undergraduates: a place to share what you're learning, find your people, and grow through your university years. These guidelines exist to keep that space useful, safe, and worth showing up to.
Read them once. Then go be yourself.
NexxEd is built for students currently enrolled in a Nigerian undergraduate programme. Recent graduates, teachers, secondary school students, and people not enrolled in a Nigerian university are not eligible. Misrepresenting your eligibility (your school, your level, or your status) may lead to your account being removed.
NexxEd is a place for learning and conversation, not a marketplace. Don't post external sales links (Selar, Paystack, Flutterwave Store, WhatsApp Channels and the like), don't advertise paid services for hire, and don't dress up marketing as discussion.
Sharing what you learned from a course, a book, or a side project is welcome. Sharing a checkout link is not.
Keep posts, comments, profile pictures, and chats free of sexual or explicit material. This applies whether the content is your own or someone else's.
Disagreement is fine. Going after a person, group, school, tribe, or faith is not. That includes slurs, threats, doxxing, pile-ons, and content meant to humiliate someone. Treat the person on the other side of the screen the way you'd want to be treated on yours.
Don't flood the feed. That means no repeated posts, no copy-paste content across communities, no off-topic noise in study communities, and no posts whose only purpose is to chase engagement. One good post beats ten thin ones.
We try to be fair, but we move quickly to protect the community. Depending on what happened and whether it has happened before:
We record the reason for every action taken on an account. If you believe we got it wrong, you can appeal by emailing the address below.
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, or something is happening to you that shouldn't be, tell us. We read every message.
